Magnetic filter with 6bar max working pressure good?

Is 6bar max working pressure for a magnetic filter good? Would this suffice for most heating systems and how can I know if it would be good for mine?

Most Central heating systems should have no more than 1mbar of water pressure to function correctly but it’s advised to always follow manufactures instructions..

the filter does not measure pressure, do you mean pressure vessel?

An average domestic central heating system will only work upto 3 bar before the pressure relief valve opens, so yes a filter with a max working pressure of 6bar is more than enough .. this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good quality though.

Your sealed system should have a Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) factory set at 3 bar. 
So yes it is fine.

6 bar maximum pressure is pretty standard for most mag filters.  If you have a pressurised system, your pressure relief valve will open at 3 bar anyway - the rating on the filter is just a maximum that your system should never reach.
