The best is to keep it untill the best of date, after that date it might lose some of its quality and certain components

It will say on the tin but as long as it’s airtight it can last for years , it will more than likely need to be re- mixed to be used

In quality dependency sometimes after a year it will be thrown away and some will still be good after years. A difficult question, as it can be influenced by many factors such as temperature, frequency of temperature changes, humidity, sunlight, etc.

not long as air gets to it ...it will foam a skin my advice is put some foil or clingflim over the tin

It varies on the paint really and how well it’s kept, personally I leave a tiny bit of water mixed in an a little layer floating on top

depends on the paint but not more than 3 months.they can form a layer on top but the bottom can be reused

Hi there, a new unopened tin of paint can last around 2-3yrs if u do open a tin, as long as its closed properly and not exposed to air it can last a year or too

Don’t need to be left unopened 
Bang some cling film over the lid hole/tray 
This will keep the air out
Also good for wrapping brushes and rollers to be able to use and carry on the same colour the following day
