Leaking roof needs fixing

I have roof in my house, from my loft I can see damp coming in and from outside I can see loose tiles around chimney from both sides, is it big work to fix it? How much could that cost?

"This all depends on whether it's just a few broken /slips slate or tile or it could be the lead flashing or soakers any decent roofer would call up for a quotation and supply pictures of what they discover and explain what works is required and the quotation visit should be free of charge"

"Based on your question, is itlikely that your roof repair will involve a moderate level of work. The loose tiles around the chimney and the visible leaks from the loft are signs of potential damage that may require replacing tiles, flashing, or even addressing underlying structural issues.
The cost of the repair can vary significantly depending on several factors:
Extent of damage: How many tiles need replacing, and are there any underlying structural problems
Roof material: The type of material e.g., tiles, slate, clay tiles, Regent tiles , v2 , small plan tiles can affect the cost.
Labor costs: The cost of hiring a professional roofer will depend on their experience and location.and it could be very cheaper if you are looking for a cheaper roofer.
Additional repairs: If there's water damage to the interior, you may need to address those issues as well.
It's recommended to get a professional roofer to inspect your roof and provide an accurate estimate. They can assess the specific issues, recommend the necessary repairs, and give you a more precise cost breakdown.
And last all houses have roof at there top.
It’s could be big job or could be very small depending on several factors already I mentioned above but I would say more on it I always recommend always hire a roofer who are registered with any roofing association like TrustATrader,CORC,NFRC,NHBC roofer should be registered with one of these
Thanks hope you got your answer"

"Most roofers should only charge a day rate for this that’s just resecuring tiles back into place any more than 5 tiles will usually cost more
Anything from 140-250"
