"Hi
No, laminate flooring doesn't need adhesive!
Best underlay for self-levelling compound would be the the one with aluminium film, for moisture barrier, assuming you laid self-levelling on a concrete floor."

"Adhesive isn’t required, and if the self levelling has done its job properly then you won’t need anything more than 1-2 mm underlay"

"Best underlay options:
Foam underlay (2–3mm) – most common and cost-effective

Foam with integrated damp-proof membrane (DPM) – ideal for ground floors or areas with possible moisture issues

Rubber or fibreboard underlay – more premium, better sound insulation (often used in flats for impact noise reduction)

Adhesive: Is it needed for click laminate flooring?
No adhesive is required.
Laminate click flooring is a floating floor system:

It locks together via the click mechanism

It’s not glued to the subfloor"

"Laminate requires a laminate underlay usually 3-5 mm thick. It can be purchased in rolls or in sheets about 800x600 mm .. With a click system there should be no need for adhesive to attach the flooring together. . You should leave a gap for expansion with is covered by scotia."
