"Hi Kelly

A land registry title plan shows who owns which part of a property/land. The land and property will be shown with a red line around the borders and then in print within the Title Document it will name the property and person/s that own that section."

"A Title deed shows who owns the property and who that person is by name and costs from £3 to £7 and is available from the .gov site. Don't purchase from any others as they are charging you more money.

You can look up any property in the UK on the Title deed and find out who is the owner."

"Hi. A land registry title basically shows who owns which part of the property/land. Telling you what land belongs to you and what belongs to your neighbours. The Title Document will also name the person/s that owns that section. Hope that helps."

"Its a map produced by Land registry that outlines/shows the general position of the boundaries of a property/area

For example, if it's your home it'll show the general position of your boundaries for your garden and where it ends etc (it's general and may not be bang on)"

The Title Plan shows the general extent of the property by red edging. Title Plans are prepared on the Ordnance Survey map and include the outline of the surrounding properties.

The title plan is the second main document of the title that accompanies the title register. It is always advisable to examine the title plan in conjunction with the registration information because there may be entries in the register which clarify the extent of the title and colour references that are shown. The title plan may contain coloured references to leases, rights of way, charges etc. Title plans are suitable to establish the general position of boundary lines but exact measurements often cannot be taken from them. Title plans commonly include the information as follows:

Title Number
Orientation
Ordnance Survey reference
Administrative area
Outline of Boundaries
Outline of the property by red edging
Surrounding properties
Rights of way and other Easements
Official Land Registry Markings"
