Internal concrete windowsills

Our flat has concrete internal windowsills it’s an old property,can pvc capping board just be placed on top of these? Thanks

"Yes you can I would use a plumbers silicon for pvc as it will allow movement with the board from cold and hot weather but I would check that the cill does not get condition on it which would be trapped under"

"Yes, make sure concrete is completely dry, I would prime the concrete first to make it dust free and less porous. Once primer is dry you can then use adhesive to stick the pvc cill on top. Regards Chris"

"Hi yes you should be able to cap the concrete sills with upvc but use a good grab additive CT1 is a very good grab addisive just make sure the surfaces are clean and dry and dust free I would be inclined to go over the surface with a pva to seal the surface first and once that's dried then you will be able to stick down your preference of upvc capping.
