Insulate a party wall

How best can a loft party wall be insulated? I’ve got a loft conversion and my neighbour doesn’t and in the winter the party wall in the loft gets a lot of condensation on it which result in mould growth so how best can I insulate the wall and eliminate mould growth and how thick should the insulation be. All advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

"You could use dot and dab with insulated boards and this could well be a great cost effective option for you, although you do have to be aware of "cold bridging" where the dabs are in contact with the wall .

Ultimate soloution would be to build a freestanding timber stud wall where it isn't touching that gable wall and screw insulated plasterboards to that. Realistically both would work, the latter being "proper""

"Hi
You will need build a false wall a minimum thickness should be a 100mm of insulation with a vapour barrier between the wall and the insulation then plaster board the new false wall
There is no other way to do it it should have been done when you had you loft converted and building control should have made this clear during the construction
Need any more advice let me know"
