Improving wi-fi coverage in house with thick walls

We live in a house with thick stone walls, which I think are responsible for blocking our wi-fi signal. What's the best way to get good coverage around our whole house?

"Mesh networks or WiFi boosters using electrical circuit will help."

"Most reliable option is to run a data cable from the main router to Access points equally dispersed around the house. When deciding positioning keep in mind each Point has the same coverage as the router, and how easy it is to run the cable to it.
Other option is WiFi extenders such as WiFi sockets or plugable in devices. These are less reliable but easier to install."

"Using a hard wired network with wireless access points would solve your problems"

"Good morning Elle. You need to get in touch with your internet provider. Ask them to do a survey / test of the property. They should be able to work out what signal percentage you should receive.

"Hi Elly. Easiest way is to run a network cable up into your loft and position a few wireless access points above the areas you need Wi-Fi most. The Wi-Fi will radiate down through the floors easier than it will pass horizontally through solid walls."

"Hi there,

You'll need access points located in the area's where the coverage is bad."

"My suggestion would be to purchase additional WiFi Access Points. These are smarter and better performing than simple repeaters, and more reliable than the systems that piggy back on the electrical wiring. They can be had fairly cheaply (around £40 each) and require minimal setup"
