How to prevent colour streaking in grout?

What can I do to prevent colour streaking in tile grouts? Are there any steps you’d recommend I should consider?

"You must thoroughly mix it first in a bucket before applying. This is best done with a hex shank mixer paddle attached to a drill. Mix thoroughly for approximately 2 minutes and the consistency must be smooth with no streaks and thick enough so it will not drip off the paddle for a few seconds when you lift it up out of the mixture"

"Some grouts will have small amounts of strong coloured pigment in their powder form. When preparing and mixing using a paddle mixer on a slow speed to ensure a pigment is mixed in thoroughly."

"Colour streaking only happens if the area you're grouting is dirty and there are other substances around which can contaminate the mix."
