How much to install internal solid wood doors

Hi, I’m thinking of replacing cheap hollow doors the house came with, with solid oak doors.  How much is it to have such doors installed? I’m in Cambridgeshire area.

im not in your area,but similar to other answers, the oak doors are far heavier and often pre finished so therefore require more care and time in fitting them.my labour costs depending on the number of doors would be between £75-100.

Hi! Labour for fitting (per door) £40-£150 (on average, approx. £70 per door. Plus a bit extra for removing old door). It depends on situation and factors, sometimes need to replace door skirts as well, This will range from £100 - £400 per door. This cost will include removing the old doors and hanging the new ones and replacing new skirts around the door. Hopefully we're answered honestly to your question.

It all depends on the size of the door. Single, double, with a side window. In my case, the price for fitting an entrance door starts at £250. Dismantling an old door on a skip £120

Hi so i when i would install hollow core doors i used to charge around £45 that was like 2 years ago but for the solid oak doors i now charge in the region of £70-90 per door and the cost really depends on what condition the original frames are, If they dont need any work just hinging up and handles then i do them for £70 they shouldnt really be much more then that per door.

Around £70 for labour per door and depending on the design of the oak door I would say about £150 per door, although an oak veneered door gives the same quality look but can dramatically drop the price in materials, I hope this helps.
