How easy to add air bricks/vents

Would like 3/4 air bricks put in to help ventilation under a kitchen and conservatory void.

Solid stone walls in a an 1890s West Yorkshire house.

I've no real idea how big of a job it is, so interested in knowing anything I need to before looking to hire

"Relatively easy work. On an existing brick wall, simply chisel out a brick and replace it with the airbrick."

"Sir, jMatt, please don't do that.. Don't do any D.i Y job on Chimney. Reason Been.. it involve smome- and compressed some with heater or radiator in the house -- with no ventilator or Air circulation. will lead to Fire outbreak. request for a Chimney Specialist and Albestor law inspector."

"Hi Dispute the last answer completely ,when your conservatory was built , it did not require any building regs ,so could be built on 100mm of concrete .
Now the roof must be 75% translucent to build any room without regs .
If you were to convert the roof only ,to a solid roof with metro tiles and insulated you will need building regs ,you will also need a structural engineers report on the existing foundations to confirm they are even adequate to take the weight of this new dead load , that’s were the pilot hole needs to take place ,then when the roof is on ,another load test needs done to confirm that there is no spread on the existing framework .thats the way it should be done ,but guys out there doing these everyday with no consideration for the future of the building .
If you wanted to demolish and build a new modern extension , your foundations would need to be replaced completely, there is no such thing as an upgrade ,or a depth of 500mm (nonsense) the foundations must go down to the depth of the existing property before pouring and concrete substrate,I could go on for ever but hopefully this helps and any further info you need please get in touch.
Regards"

"I find the easiest way is to use a hammer drill to either take a brick out of the wall or
Mark around the air brick making sure it’s level & drill loads of holes following the line to form the hole .
Carefully use wooden wedges to centre & level the air brick , then repoint around the outer edge ."

"You may have to remove a few chunks of the stone, it's a bit of a hassle but there is no other way. Suggest a telescopic air brick"

"simply chisel out a brick and replace it with the airbrick. When it comes to cavity walls and underfloor ventilation, you need to ensure that air can flow between both leaves to ensure adequate ventilation."
