Hi, I’m considering investing in solar panels but I want to know what the benefit of Solar panels is and what do they power in the house?

"In a nutshell, Solar panels convert daylight into DC energy, that is then converted into usable AC energy by an inverter to offset energy used within the home. During sunny days you may find you are exporting excess energy to the grid that could be captured by an Energy Storage System for use when the sun is not shining. If you have a large energy demand & a suitably sized roof/garden, a solar array could be installed to mitigate your energy usage reducing dependence on the grid & lowering your cost of energy.
