Hi! How do I know what the open time is for a given product? Will it always say on the product itself?

Yes, it will at room temperature. Room temperature can affect the pot time. For example, working in a glass conservatory during summer when it might be hot will reduce the pot time. My advice would be to mix a small amount and increase the mix each time till you're happy with what you can comfortably use in the pot time

Yes, most products will have directions of use and time limits..pay attention to temperature..the higher the temperature the quicker products start to set.

All products will have instructions on the packaging for mix detail and also open time detail if you mix to the instructed amount.
