Hourly rate for gardeners in the southwest?

What is the hourly and daily rate of a gardener in the southeast of England? I am looking to hire someone to perform a thorough clean up but I’d like to know what prices to expect first before I start requesting quotes. That way I’ll know if I've been given a decent price. Thank you.

"My firm would be looking in Devon for 130.00 a day for clearance so I would expect to pay around £15.00 per hour.

For this your gardener should bring all his own tools and equipment.

The only extra thing may be for chipper hire for waste removal expect a charge of £75 a day for the chipper with fuel extra."

"If the job is long, so 3-6 days then a days work would be roughly £100-130 a day. Only a few hours I would personally charge about £15-20"

"So every company is different as we all have different overheads, bills, tools etc. A company with a £30 mower is most likely going to be cheaper than someone using one for a £1000.

But never the less the average in the area I believe is between £15 to £22 per hour and if you hired someone for a full day you would be expected to spend between £150 to £225"

"I’m from Birmingham and if it was me I wouldn’t do a day for less than £70 depending on hours and work required all depends on the detail of work"

"typically the average rate is 15-18 poounds an hour, it can very from job to job.
Some people i know charge abit less if they use the clients tools and equipment becuase, so they add the fee for general wear and tear and petrol for the mower."
