"Most big hire vans are described as 3,500kg vans. This means the maximum permitted weight of the van itself plus the load and any passengers is 3,500kg."

"This will depend what vehicle the company have, also what they want to risk they license.

A normal tipper van hold 3.5ton license can take around 900kg-1200kg (depending the body they heavy)

I believe any company with a full details of what service to do they can give you best advise on that"

"Most vans are described as 3,500kg. Therefore the maximum permitted weight of the van plus the load of any extra weight and people or material is 3,500kg"

"The weight limit for a removal van can vary depending on the size and type of the van. However, in general, a typical removal van or moving truck can typically carry a maximum load of around 3,000 to 6,000 pounds (1,361 to 2,722 kilograms) or more. Larger trucks may have higher weight limits.

It's important to check with the rental company or the specific removal van you plan to use for its weight capacity, as it can vary. Additionally, you should consider the legal weight limits and regulations in your area, as exceeding these limits can result in fines and safety hazards. Overloading a van can also cause damage to the vehicle and increase the risk of accidents.

When planning a move, it's advisable to estimate the weight of your belongings and choose an appropriately sized van or truck to ensure that you stay within legal weight limits and can transport your items safely. If you have an exceptionally heavy load, you may need to use multiple vehicles or hire a professional moving company with specialized equipment to handle the job safely and efficiently."
