"Hi this would depend on the power rating of the hob , and to whether you have an outlet with the correct rated cable installed already, and an electrician should be able to widen an existing worktop , so long as it was wood and not marble or granite etc.

"I would usually charge £60 if it’s replacing an existing electric hob"

"It would depend on the worktop surface material is there an existing circuit and are we just connecting the hob?"

"Hi.
I normally charge £50. Making slight adjustment to cut out would not be a problem."

"Hi
It depends on the KWatt of the Hob.
Or is it just connecting a hob to existing Cooker panel again depends on KWatt of the hob but providing it’s below 32amp and it already has a dedicated 32amp supply cost is around £60 depending on location.
If not dedicated supply you would need to have either a 6mm or 10mm cable installed this would be decided by KWatt of the Hob.
