Halving a brick cleanly

Is there a trick to creating a clean break when halving bricks?

"If you use a grinder or steel saw that will do the job perfectly but please make sure you are careful with the grinder they can be very dangerous if you have never used before. Hope this helps."

"Hi , just mark the front in the middle of the brick and turn it over and hit it one !!! Should half cleanly !!! With being a bricklayer it comes naturally by just hitting the back using a brick hammer , or turn the face around and use the side of the brick nice and square ."
