How could I replace/mend/clean leaking guttering at the rear of my terraced house, with not back access and with a conservatory covering the whole width of the house?!

Is this a big job?

"Good morning

Without seeing the layout it’s hard to advise on the best course of action to take?

This could potentially be achieved via crawl boards and ladders but again does the conservatory have a pitch roof ? Flat roof ? Height from the roof to the gutters ?.

"Yes you would need some sort of scaffolding or access tower which would cover the top of your conservatory"

"Replacing, mending, or cleaning a leaking guttering at the rear of your terraced house without back access and with a conservatory covering the whole width of the house can indeed be a challenging task. Here are a few suggestions on how you could approach it:

Assess the situation: Determine the extent of the damage and identify the specific areas that require repair or cleaning. Check for any blockages, cracks, or loose connections in the guttering system.

Consider alternative access points: If you don't have direct back access, explore other potential entry points to reach the guttering. This could include accessing it from a neighboring property (with permission) or using a ladder to access it from the front or side of the house.

Use long-reach tools: Invest in long-reach tools designed for gutter cleaning and maintenance. These tools have extended handles or attachments that can help you reach the guttering from a distance, minimizing the need for direct access.

Hire professionals: If the job seems too complex or risky for you to handle on your own, it's advisable to seek the assistance of professional guttering specialists. They have the experience, tools, and expertise to tackle such tasks efficiently and safely, even in challenging situations.

Consider a temporary solution: If the issue is minor and immediate repairs are not possible, you may consider implementing temporary fixes, such as using sealants or patches to stop leaks temporarily. However, keep in mind that these are temporary solutions and should not replace proper repairs.

The complexity and scale of the job will depend on the specific circumstances and condition of your guttering system. It's recommended to consult with a professional for a more accurate assessment and to ensure the job is done properly. All the best. Arkadiusz"

"Replacing or repairing leaking guttering can vary in complexity depending on the specific situation and the extent of the damage. Given the constraints of limited access and a conservatory covering the entire width of the house, it can make the job more challenging."

"Hiya, by the sound of it you may well need scaffolding or a cherry picker"

"Please post a pic if possible.

It most likely will require scaffold to get up there but without assessing the access its hard to say...."
