Garden Shed / Summerhouse cladding options

Hi,

Would you recommend / advise on the pro's and con's of removing current cladding and replacing it with corrugated steel (similar) sheets.  Would this require additional frame inserts to hold the sheets in place - I am looking for a modernization of my current summerhouse/shed combo.

Hi Faye, hope you’re well. It would all depend on current size (cladding) vs new size (corrugated steel) if same size, then inserts wouldn’t need replacing (unless you wanted to) providing the frame/inserts are of good standing in good condition to be able go fix the new steel ones. Hi yes as long as what is behind the cladding is in good condition. And will be able to handle the new cladding.
Maybe a bit of adding timber here and there.
