"if you have no choice you could get creative and install one of these (same size as the fridge or whichever is the biggest out of the appliances):-
1) heat shield between the two appliances (some have insulation and some don't).
2) firewall barrier like they use for car bonnets (warm in winter and cool in summer).
3) use a slate/granite/marble/limestone/sandstone/concrete tiles or slabs like they use for log burner hearths (probably the most expensive option but also the nicest looking if done correctly).
I would always check the cooker manual for instructions on distances allowed for minimum safe distance from other appliances as some will require more than others.
I hope this helps you out but if not it might help someone else in the future."

"Hey Sean!

Ovens and fridges are both pretty well insulated. As in they are supposed to keep the cold/ heat in and heat/cold out so them being next to each other wont be a problem. I wouldn’t worry too much about needing to do anything.

I get your feelings though. If you can leave a 2cm gap though then it will be enough for any heat to dissipate enough to the room around it."

"This is not a problem all you have to do is make sure if you have a hob close to the fridge/freezer keep an eye on pan's not being to near the fridge freezer as heat could affect the surface of the unit. Common sense should prevent anything from going wrong."

"Seems you have no option. But the freezer should be OK, the insulation that keeps the cold in, should keep the oven heat out"

"This is quite common, it’s not a problem, most of the time there is a decor panel between the appliances"

"gas cooker clearances says that on the side it have to be 15cm distance from the hob or cooker to nearest fridge or cupboard"
