"It should be around 1m depth depending on the ground, you might have to go lower but if the ground is solid then you should be good at 1m."

"On average, we recommend digging at least a metre deep and filling the trench with concrete for maximum strength. Ideally, the depth would be closer to 1500mm, like a traditional extension."

"Depending on the size, a foundation can vary from 0.8 to 1.2m for a base brick wall of upto 1.6m high with upvc frame above.
But can be done with a slab base of 600mm depth."

"On the preponderance, I suggest digging at least a metre 20cm deep and filling the trench with concrete for maximum strength. Ideally, the depth would be great closer to 1500mm in a larger building more than one ground level only."

"On average, we recommend digging at least a metre deep and filling the trench with concrete for maximum strength. Ideally, the depth would be closer to 1500mm, like a traditional extension. This is because more substantial materials are used in conservatory and orangery builds nowadays."

"Hi,

Generally the minimum is 450mm.

The concrete used in the conservatory foundations should have a minimum depth of 225mm."
