Fireplace makeover

I would like to take my 70's style open fireplace and turn it into an electric one. The tiles are all broken around it so would need to be replaced and so does the mantle piece.

what kind of trades person do I need and how much roughly would this cost?

"Thank you for your inquiry! I would be happy to assist you with transforming your 70’s style open fireplace into an updated one. I can help replace the broken tiles and install a new mantelpiece to give it a fresh, modern look. Please note that my work does not include electrical installations, so you would need to arrange for the electric fireplace setup separately.

Feel free to let me know your preferences for the tiles and mantel design, and I can provide you with a detailed quote based on your requirements. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Let me know if you'd like further adjustments!"

"It all depends on the inspection. Theoretically, every tiler should deal with it, and as for the price, even with a group I can not tell you, because everyone values their work a little differently. I appreciate tiling in several ways. From a square meter (£25-£50), or for days. It all depends on the complexity of the task..."

"The cost can vary from what tiles you chose. What pattern you want . What part of the country you are , what preparation work needs doing . The only way you will get an idea is to have three tradesmen who are professional tilers ( not DIY enthusiasts) to come and chat with you and give you a free no obligation quote."

"Hi, Anne.
Usually it can be an internal stone fixer or tiler that have experience in working with different types of stone and adhesive.
The price depends on the type of stone, size and the level of the mantle complexity.
The cost will be higher if it will take longer time to build it… for guidance, it’s around £50/hour."
