Fire surround to be built

Question

How much for someone to make a tall fire surround with mirror insert and curved top from MDF or pine as it will be painted. 
I have an old surround with mirror that is too big for the chimney width but want something similar but one that will fit.

Without seeing the said mirror or chimney breast for the surround ,it would be difficult to estimate accurately.
I would agree with the MDF construction as the paint finishes are of a better quality.
Having the surround made bespoke I think your looking at around £900/£1200.

Hi this would be quite easy for me as I used to make furniture. If you’re going to paint it I suggest you use MDF as it would be cheaper. Cheers Paul.

Not the best description without any measurements I would only imagine size and conditions,
If you allowed x3 days labour for this your looking at £800+ VAT
Materials would fall between £180-£240+ VAT
So £1000 + VAT would be a good guess
