"Hi, the world of fire doors have so many grey areas.. the survey is correct if you are in a flat within a block or your Flat/house entrance door leads straight onto a public footpath.
To be absolutely certain you will pass the FRA I would have a Full fire door set installed to FD30S. To clear this up it means new door frame and door tested together as a set. The frame is to be certifire aswell as the door and by the same manufacture, The installer must install to manufactures fitting instructions the frame must also be sealed to the opening substrate using the manufactures approved firestopping product.
You would be looking at £1300-£1500 for the door set and around £300 for a fitter who knows what he is doing and is competent fitting fire doors."
