How do I find an architect with knowledge of approved/standard conservation practices?

From experience what I will advise is to get a planner or architect that has an experience with conservation area.
Like a previous approval from a council dealing with conservation area which can easily be checked online.
Why is because it’s not all architect that have a broad experience dealing with conservation area.

"Hi Patrick the best approach is to ask for their portfolio and previous works you can get an idea from their what their experience is you can also check on RIBA to find specialist architect."
