"gaps, particularly in old, plank-style flooring, thin strips of wood, also known as 'slivers,' can be an effective solution"

"DraughtEx is the best material for draught proofing floorboards because its flexible properties allow it to compress and expand with the natural movement of the floorboard gap meaning it doesnt fall out over time.

"Best way is to cut beveled strips off of a bit of wood glue and tap them into the gaps and when glue has dried trim off excess wood"

"It depends on the size of the gaps i have many times lifted the boards then cut and fitted a feature strip between boards, I have found most fillers full out over time and do not look as good"

"lecol 5500 is the best by far. You sand the floor, mix dust with glue the fill all gaps. the result is amazing

"The best thing is a v groove call Stop gap.
Place this in between the gaps along the joist
Mix PVA and sawdust together, then fill the stop gap with this mix and wipe off with dunk cloth."
