Should I install a false fence if I’m using a vertical spindle moulder that is fitted with its own power feed unit?

"I try to use a false fence as much as possible. It stops any drop in, especially on small items like glazing bars. Obviously there will be times when it’s impossible to use a false fence, like when the fences aren’t inline or where the cutter is too big. I just use an off cut of mdf and secure it with two g clamps."
