Extractor fan out through the eaves

We have a bathroom extractor fan venting into our insulated loft space. We want to get it sorted and we were told by a tradesperson they could run the extractor fan out through the eaves.

I've read online that going through the eaves is a bad for mould as the moisture can condense there.

Is this a good idea or should I ask to go through the soffit?

Thanks in advance.

"I would advise you to run it to the soffit !!
If not you just passing the problem from one side to the other .."

"There’s several ways you can have it .

- straight into your loft like it sounds like you have already
- through the eves/soffits off the house ( if there’s room
- bore a hole from the inside of the house to the outside ( if you have a bathroom with an external wall )
- flu straight up through the roof

The choice is yours , the one that goes into the loft space only is the cheapest but is just like another room which will hold the condensation ."
