"You will need to check rules on permitted development without planning in your area.

Every council is different"

"If neighbors are friendly then wall can go on line with fence , if not then 10 inch out of boundary"

"You can build your extension up to 50mm from your neighbours' boundary as long as you have either Permitted Development Rights or have Planning Permission. This could be a suitable option if you aren't able to secure a Party Wall Agreement."

"Basically get in contact with your council that your area comes under and they will give u guidlines or if not then u can apply for planning permission as there is still a lot of red tape in adding on extension builds so give that a go 👍"

"Permitted Development Rights (PDRs): if your extension falls under permitted development rights, you can build up to 50mm from your neighbour's boundary. However, this is only applicable for single storey extensions. For two-storey extensions, you will need planning permission."

"We should follow the drawings approved by planning permission from local borough. regulation is 50mm minimum distance from neighbour's wall or boundry."

"You can go to your boundary but that includes where roof will over hang so usually step bk a bit to allow access to remedy any future problems to remedy"

"If your home has a shared boundary with neighbours on both sides, you can usually:

Build an extension under permitted development or with full planning permission up to 50 mm from the boundary. This option often circumvents any party wall considerations.
Build up to the boundary with a party wall agreement."
