Exhaust Vent in Soffit

There's a bathroom exhaust vent above my bedroom window on the first floor which looks awful, you can even see the duct inside when you're looking up from the garden. I want to get rid of it but I can't afford to replace the whole soffit. I was wondering if replacing just that section of the soffit above the window is an option or if there's another way to repair it. The current soffit is made of UPVc.

"If your bedroom and bathroom are on the 1st floor, then you shouldn't have your bathroom exhaust vent above your bedroom window, the exhaust vent for the bathroom should be straight out the wall in the bathroom or straight up into the loft and connected to a vent tile in the roof"

"Yes this is possible we do carry of cuts of full lengths in case needed however is the exhaust still in use and where will it need to be moved to this is something that will need consideration beforehand ie through the roof or a gable end wall"

"Yes the other way you could solve this is to divert the exhaust vent through the loft area via a vent slate /tile vent up through the roof area and just cut back the upvc soffit the the next 2 local spars"

"You may be able to change a section but this might involve a lot of work and we may need to replace some facia as well we would need to know your budget so we know how we would proceed

"Hi yes of course you can cut out that section of soffit and replace it but in my opinion you would have to buy a length of soffit anyway so it would be more beneficial to replace the whole section as they come in 4-5 metre lengths anyway as far ad I'm aware you can buy smaller sections but if you can aquire a smaller length as long as the joins are from rafter to rafter to be able to be able to fix it to also you would need to join soffit together with joining strips ,but yes you can cut a section out if finances are a factor otherwise I would replace the whole length if you can afford to do so least that way you can cut out exactly where you require the venting to be positioned preferably not BT the window tho as you are more likely for it to blow back through the window when it's open .
Many thanks
