"Yes 32a is the standard, all depends on what you have in the kitchen. Most hobs and ovens are separate to this unless on a 13amp plug top"

"If it is a ring circuit then 32amp. Common these days to put in two 20amp radials circuits allowing a total of 40 amps"

"Should be a 30/32amp ring main. Sometimes they are run as a 16amp radial circuit but this is not really sufficient for a kitchen"

"Kitchen and utility are feed on a separate ring main
As the high power appliances used in the kitchen and utility ie
Kettle/ dishwasher/ tumble dryer / Washing machine
The cable is 2.5mm twin and earth and the standard fuse used is 32 amp and all socket outlets need to be RCD protected"

"Ideally you would want it running g off a 32 amp ring circuit in 2.5mm cable. You will also need it to be protected by an RCD. 30 amp fuses have now been replaced by 32 amp mcb's better still 3w amp rcbo's"
