Electricity for a metal garden shed?

Is it possible to have electricity supplied to a metal garden shed? How complex is this and must it all be done by a professional and qualified electrician?

"It is possible having electricity in to a metal shed and there will be no need for a qualified electrician as long as the person who does it knows what he is doing."

"Yes it can be done wired to a new DB unless you have spare in your current DB (Distribution board) you’ll need to run armoured cable & this would all need to be signed off by a qualified competent person as wiring a supply to the DB is very dangerous."
