Question

I have a earth wire inside my property that’s connected to the main water supply into the property, it goes around the kitchen though a couple of walls and is connected to a pipe were the old gas meter was ( gas meter has been removed and is now outside ) can I remove it ?

That cable is earth cable for bonding it creates a path to earth in the event of a fault on the property

you can but its probably connected to an earth rod out 
side your property , and could looped for other earths

Yes but keep the water connection intact. Also run a new 10mm earth cable to the new gas meter position from the consumer unit. (Very important)

or Napit registered electrical contractor. 
No one can possibly answer the question without an inspection of the installation.

Hi,
The mains water pipe and gas incoming should both be bonded at the consumer unit , individually. If you have checked that bth are bonded and that cable is redundant then yes it can be removed.
If you are unsure , post a job to have an electrician come to investigate.
