I'd really appreciate some guidance on this, had some really helpful feedback from traders on here before.
I've recently had a dry verge installed with some new felt due to a suspected nesting issue the previous owners didn't deal with. I live in a semi so this was only on one side.
I was charged £2.5k for a dry verge install and 2 metres of felt and batten on one side (semi detached) and told it would require 2 days work but it was all done in one day. I was initially quoted £650 to get the dry verging done, the rest I was told needed doing once they started.
Secondly, the dry verging seems very haphazard and wonky. My understanding is that it should be relatively flush and level, obviously allowing for some variation as the roof isn't going to be completely level, but from the ground it really does look off when comparing it to pictures of how it "should" look.
