"Use diamond head drill bits or core drill. Never on hummer drill, or if you have too set it on spin only.
The core bits are the best, a bit pricy dough but thy never fail me.
Good luck.

"Hi Patrick, you will need a special tile drill bit which will cut through the tile properly. If the hole is bigger than 10mm you will need a diamond edge cutting bit. To prevent the drill from slipping you need to put masking tape on first where you are going to drill."

"Hi, for porcelain tile, only diamond drill is suitable."

"you will need a diamond drill bit-(bnq sell cheap decent ones) don't press the drill too hard...let the drill bit do the work...use plenty if water to keep drill bit from burning out...

it should go through the tile no problem

don't use ANY other drill bit...it WILL break the tile.
