Does bamboo flooring contain formaldehyde?

Does bamboo flooring in the UK contain formaldehyde? I've read somewhere that it can sometimes contain it but looking online retailers don't mention whether brands do or don't. Is it a harmful amount?

"Low-quality bamboo can contain traces of urea-formaldehyde. Levels of toxins will vary on the resin adhesive used and how the bamboo planks are manufactured. Cheaper products may have higher levels, while more expensive options may use alternative materials for their resins.

As far as harmfulness goes Engineered bamboo emit less formaldehyde ppm than a banana, 1,500 times less and you will find more formaldehyde particles per million in coffee than in engineered bamboo."

"Natural Bamboo doesn't contain formaldehyde. Also you can look for bamboo flooring labeled as “formaldehyde-free” or certified to meet low VOC standards if you want a safer option.
Such products use alternative adhesives, such as soy-based or phenol-formaldehyde"

"In the production of bamboo floors, as with almost all other flooring, trace amounts of formaldehyde are used."
