Do i still need a concrete shed base?

Hi,guys. I am going to build a plastic shed. And the garden is already paved with slabs,so it's solid.

Do i still need to build a concrete shed base? Is it unnecessary?

Building The base is aimed at lifting up the shed,to keep the floor dry in a rainy day,as i find out the floor is quite thin. Can you give me some advice, please? Thanks a lot!

"Hi, the shed can be placed directly onto the slabs as most sheds have gaps underneath for air circulation. If you want to raise it slightly off the ground, consider adding a wooden frame using 4x2 timber."

"It is not necessary but it is recommended just to secure the shed properly also let's rain flow under the shed"

"If the floor is solid enough to take weight I suggest you get 6-8 additional slabs, put them on the existing slabs and the shed on top. This provides air flow under the shed. If the base is too flimsy I suggest a thick piece of marine ply, seal it with a water resistant sealant, put the ply on the additional slabs and the shed on the ply. Hope that helps."

"No you can put your shed on the paving slabs that you have already laid"

"With a plastic shed it’s not really necessary as there’s not a lot of weight buts it’s your own choice"

"No you don’t but I would raise your building up off the ground a little by putting a bearer across each end and two equidistant apart underneath you could use 75mm x75mm timber readily available treated from your fence supply stockist"

"A concrete bass in my eyes is a must do. Ive known of some people use wooden palletes but that rots over time due to our winter months. So yes go with the concrete 100%."

"Yes you will always need a foundation otherwise plastic will sink into the ground and can just rot away crack in bad weather conditions"
