Do I have the Right trade?

Hi would you deal with removing damp damaged wall with mold and renewing or would it be another trade?

"Hi Jina,

Yes this would be a plastering related job. Firstly, you would need to ascertain what the cause of damp is and locate any areas of water ingress. Once this is rectified the old, damaged plaster/render would need to be stripped back to the block work and reapplied. There are a number of ways to do this and the age/type of property would dictate the materials best suited to the job. In the interim, I would suggest allowing as much ventilation as possible. I hope this helps."
