Do carpenters stock pre-made furniture?

Do many carpentry companies provide a stock of pre-made furniture? Or is most in need of assembly? What would you say is generally true in your opinion?

The short answer is generally  NO.

Carpenters and joinery companies will offer made to measure solutions and fit `.

Or if you have bought from a furniture company like Ikea for instance, we would assemble and fit.

We offer fully fitted units to maximise floor and ceiling space for storage and use.

This would depend  a joinery shop would normally make products to order  as a customer request, or they may make products to sell on  this work is normally done by bench joiners. So in a way a company like Winkleigh pine will have a range of products like a factory because they are also doing bench joinery  they will also be able to make  more bespoke items to your plans. 

These sort of companies always supply us with assembled furniture owing to the nature of the business or although if you ask some might consider leaving some assembly to the customer.

I would say not all ready-made. That would require a lot of space. And space equals currency.

No carpenters would only make furniture to order. Buy stuff from Ikea good stuff well made if your looking for speed and get a joiner to assemble it for you

If you want to use a flat-pack then all handymen can do this, but if you want to have a custom build project, then a carpenter with experience is advised.
