Do architects find mood boards useful?

I've made a mood board for the interior design of my dream extension. I'm going to engage an architect later this year and I'm wondering if the mood board will be useful or should I keep this to myself?

yes very. either sharing a link to sites like Pinterest or other webpages or just an old fashioned approach like magazine pages or higgling colours on colour charts

Yes anything you show from moodboards to Pinterest pins are useful for conveying your desired thoughts and outcomes. 
We often add Pinterest pins to give clients an idea of what we are suggesting as it’s quicker and easier in helping them to visualise what we are suggesting. 
Create a pinboard using Pinterest as you can email your link to the architects and both parties can add to it and view it.

Yes, anything that you can use to show us hat you want your project to be like is a huge help in the design process. Also, what is helpful is for you to relay what the spaces are to be used for on a daily basis to ensure designs are made with future usage in mind.
