"If it’s on side of the house the ladders should be on the side and they should be take the pole down, replace or fix the aerial and put the pole back up. If it’s too steep for ladders then they should be using roof ladders preferably with standoffs and to be extra careful have foam or something soft wrapped around the stand offs"

"There’s no need to worry about the roof tiles.
Ladders used for roofing and aerial work hardly touch the tiles. The ladder sits/hooks over the ridge and is only in contact with the roof in a few places with protective bars.
You have no need to worry."

"Yes same as the answers below, a reputable company will have all the proper equipment to access a roof without causing damage."

"I would question why they need to walk on your roof and not your neighbours. Plus they should be using roof ladders so as to not walk on any tiles. Any reputable Aerial company will have the correct equipment and safety gear needed. Plus they should have public liability insurance. If not, don’t let them do the work."

"Walking on any roof isn't advisable especially if the work isn't being done for yourself, If you do permit them to go on the roof make sure they provide proof of their public liability insurance and get someone to inspect the roof for damage after they have been up there."
