Is there any other way to cover flooring expansion gaps than using beading?

"Beading Is one way but another way would be to use skirting boards, you can removed and clean your old ones or have new ones attached."

"hello, surely there are other solutions to cover that space,
One solution is to remove the skirting boards to fix the floor and after that you can fix the skirting boards back without having that empty gap.
Thanks"

"Take your skirting boards off first. Then lay the floor. Skirting goes back on top .if its all ready layed. And your that desperate to avoid the beading. Take off skirting (wont be easy with the floor down ) and replace with new thicker skirting. Can be done .but good luck with that undertaking"

"If its cut accurately with a nice 5mm gap all around you could silicone it with an appropriate coloured silicone. Another and best option would be to remove the skirting boards before installing the laminate/lvt"

"You could go with the flush finish look but it requires the room skirting to be removed prior to Flooring installation and then reinstalled after the flooring goes down it looks alot cleaner and sharper. Downside more costly and labour intensive."

"If the gaps aren't to big you could use silicone but be careful not to get to much in the gap as it will stop the flooring from expanding. Alternatively you could take the skirtings of prior to installation"

"Take skirting boards of and move closer to walls and then refit skirting boards on top to cover expansion gap other than that it will have to have beading round"
