Hello,

What costs would we be looking at approximately to remove a 1200mm load bearing wall to knock through from the house into a single storey utility room? located in North East

"cant give you answer as every single is different you just cannot remove wall without propping up the wall above so structural engineer is in most cases necessary"

"Sounds like you want a door opening at 1200mm that should cost very much but being the northwest I wouldn’t be able to do that but you’re looking at 300-400 depending on finish needed"

"If it’s a double wall then roughly around £800 to prop cut out both sides and put concrete lintols in each side. Labour plus materials"

"i would budget for around £2,500 (top end) if electrics & plumbing is not required. That would be to take down, install lintel-steel & remove waste to skips or of site."
