I would like to have pressured-treated softwood decking fitted in my back garden. I currently have a garden of 40 square metres and it is entirely covered by real grass with the exception of a small garden shed. We’d like to have the decking fitted just beyond the back door and covering an area of about 15 square metres. What total cost can I expect for this installation work from a professional decking fitter? That is between both labour and supply costs.

It depends on if you require hand rails as well typical cost would be about £60 per sqm

Hi, there is alot to consider when thinking about decking.
As the guy above mentioned handrails, you have also got, wood or composite decking, wood or composite frame, colours, styles, quality of either timber or composite decking, personally I think your looking anywhere from 60-85 per m2.
