I want to have a vinyl door fitted to the front of my house as a replacement to my current door. As someone based in the southwest of England, what sort of price range could I expect from door fitters to complete this job? I’d like to know what the supply costs of an average mid-quality vinyl door would be and how professional contractors would charge in terms of the labour costs? I want to know what sort of quotes to expect from contractors in my area. Also, how long might this sort of work take on average?

"It’s a days work really for a decent tradesman. Doors vary in price so I would do a search and get some rough prices. Go with a price your comfortable with and get three quotes and go with the price that suits you"

"It all depends on how much you are prepared to spend on a new door and what a tradesman charges for his time. I’m sure rates that people charge vary up and down the country but I would recommend you get at least 3 quotes"
