Hi,
I am looking for someone who could install conservatory.
Just trying to find out if could be cheaper to buy one and find the builder who could install it without finishing.
Thanks

"Hi! Yes, it can often be cheaper to purchase a conservatory yourself and hire a builder to install it without finishing work, as this allows you to shop around for the best deal on the conservatory itself and pay for only the labour you need.

However, there are a few things to consider:

Compatibility and Specifications: Ensure the conservatory you buy is compatible with your home and meets local building regulations.

Builder’s Experience: Hire a builder experienced in installing conservatories to ensure proper assembly and stability.

Hidden Costs: Double-check whether the builder's quote covers foundations, insulation, and any structural work required.

Warranty: Buying the conservatory and hiring a separate installer might split warranties—so ensure both the product and installation have appropriate coverage.

Finishing Work: If you plan to finish the interior later, budget for those additional costs separately.

Getting a few quotes from builders who can install conservatories might help you compare prices effectively."

"Sometimes it is cheaper to get the base done and then buy the conservatory off a company and they fit it. That’s if you get a decent builder that won’t rob you. Thing is with that you have no guarantee with the build. They tend to blame each other if anything goes wrong. I am a reputable builder and I do know conservatory manufacturers who will fit and make it. If you want to get in touch then please do
Joe. . Thanks"
