Composite decking

What would be the normal and minimum spacing for joists for a 4x2.5m 28mm composite decking against the house wall

2 feet as u don’t want any movement  as the flex in the product used over time

I do 400mm centers with wooden decking. Not sure composite would be any different.

No different to normal decking use 400mm spacing for the joists and you will be good to go

350mm is the normal recomendation from most manufacturers.

I would do the spaces at 350mm as the composite decking is little bit hard walking than wooden

I would recommend 3/4m spacer for each gap keeping it consistent

I would suggest 400mm joist spacing and certainly no more than 450mm

Joists at 400mm centres is typical.

16 inch centers or I normally measure length and divide up so all same but 16 inch or less
