"no it doesn’t effect because when we weld it’s already gone on high temperature"

"Cold weather shouldn’t crack welds unles there was a crack that let water in an it froze, but unlikely"

"No cold weather won't make a weld crack
Impurities in the metal, or a bad weld will crack"

"it has been known too. but it would have to be extremely cold and a bad weld.."

"Its not so much the weather that cracks a weld (if thats what your asking) its the transition of heat between the base metal and the weld. In some cases, pre heating the base materials before welding helps stop the heat loss as the weld cools. The good old expatiation and contraction. Thin materials can be less likely to crack with steel but big, thick material needs preheating. If unsure, just preheat to be safe.
I hope this answers your question:)"

"Unlikely,I'm not an expert in welding but structural welding in particular is submitted to rigorous testing and I think in certain circumstances account for extreme temperatures exposure!"

"YES - cold cracking - due to cooling to quickly.

Rate of heat loss is proportional to the temperature difference, which tells us that in cold conditions a welded joint will cool faster."

"If you are welding in a cold environment, then yes because welds cool down faster in cold temperatures, making them more fragile and susceptible to cracking.

If a weld has been done in a normal temperature atmosphere then is open to the cold later down the line, then it should be fine"
