Cleaning a copper sink

I've found a lovely company that make hammered copper sinks. but my worry is about cleaning it. Does anyone have any tips for how hygienic they are and how's best to clean them?

"Every sink should be cleaned every time it is washed, no matter what the material is. It needs maintenance and attention. In your case, I recommend a soft sponge with salt and lemon liquid."

"Apart from just regular clean you don't need to do much with a copper sink. But if you feel need to give it extended clean then half a glass of vinegar and water should be sufficient. Or another simple solution is add salt to lemon and use the lemon to clean.

With both methods make sure to rinse the sink with water after"

"Prepare a cleaning liquid by mixing 2 teaspoons of baking soda and 2 teaspoons of white vinegar (or water) in a small bowl until it becomes a thick paste.
Use a soft sponge or cloth to apply the paste to the stains on the sink and scrub gently.
Rinse the sink with warm running water and dry it with a soft towel.
Polish the sink with a copper polish or wax if desired."

"Copper sinks can be hygienic if properly maintained. Copper has natural antimicrobial properties that can help inhibit the growth of bacteria, but it still requires regular cleaning. To clean a hammered copper sink, you can use a mild dish soap and warm water solution with a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbers that could scratch the surface and remove the protective patina. Additionally, you can periodically disinfect the sink by wiping it down with a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. After cleaning, be sure to dry the sink thoroughly to prevent water spots and tarnishing."
