  • Is this dry rot?

We’re buying a property with serious damp issues. We know it needs work, but today we’ve spotted this which appears to be the fruiting body of some sort of fungus. Is it dry rot? It doesn’t seem to be like most of the photos online, but I can’t find anything similar. https://ibb.co/7bXXygB https://ibb.co/z2V1XjS

RH level for turning off dehumidifer and how long it can run for

What level of relative humdity signifies that it's time to turn off my dehumidifer? Also, on that note, how long can a dehumidifer run before it may be dangerous or would it just turn itself off if, say, it were to overheat? I could be wrong in assuming it would overheat after a certain period of time. Just looking for some clarity on these two areas. Thanks!
